![]() ![]() When you die in Minotaur you usually do so quick LOL. So no long drawn out struggles where you are doing at least ok and valiantly holding on only to finally die which is gut wrenching. What is nice about those "other games" in Minotaur is when you die it is fast and painless. She's like the Atlanta - when she works, she's a whale of a lot of fun - and then there are those other games. I honestly struggle with the Mino, but I'll always keep her. Edinburgh is great, but gets up-tiered enough to make her a challenge. Conceptually, the ship types - in a very general sense, with exceptions - fall into the following roles: Destroyers (DDs): Stealthy ninjas - they use their speed and concealment to set up ambush attacks on enemy capital ships with their torpedos, and they use their fast firing but low damage guns against other destroyers. Edinburgh is my go-to ship for things like Ranked, and I have my best captain on her. Fiji I like, but I have a tougher time with her for some reason. The Leander has always been one of my favorite and most successful ships. ![]() 10 billion pebbles at a high rate of speed, will eventually melt a mountain. It's an absolute riot watching a Yamato slowly - very, VERY slowly - melt under your sandblaster guns. But by the time you get to the Minotaur, no one cares. You're doomed to get shatters and bounces all the way up to T10. I am at Tier 5, the Emerald now and one thing I've noticed is that even destroyers are bouncing my shells!ĭo their guns get better eventually or am I doomed to be always hosing off tons and tons of shells and watching many of them shatter and bounce, all the way to tier 10? ![]() I've been progressing up the British cruiser line and learning its many quirks, including the frequent sinking by bot ships (I play only co op games) when I make a mistake. ![]()
